Our visionary leader, Chijioke Ekwenze, experienced first-hand, how these lapses cost companies so much in expenses, downtime, down tools; and loss of personnel due to the compromised standard of tools. In search of a lasting solution, he took up the challenge to discover ways many companies can solve those problems with ease.

For eight years and counting, he worked in two local and three multi-national engineering firms as a procurement engineer; acquiring a wealth of experience on the job, receiving procurement training; providing sourcing, purchasing and procurement services within and outside the country.

These placed him on an uncommon pedestal to have a bird’s-eye view of the challenges and difficulties many companies experience in procurement and technical manpower supply. Some include; delay in delivery, compromise on standards, poor after-sales support, zero relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and the chain of middlemen that lead to downtime, down-tool, loss of resources and poor service delivery thereby increasing the cost of operations.

During board, operations, and maintenance meetings, the constant query was; “Can we find a procurement brand that saves time, have responsive support service, and provide only the specified gauge for parts and machines for projects and operations?”

These challenges with procurement and procurement companies gave birth to McQwenzi Limited: an industrial procurement and servicing company birthed out of the desire to simplify procurement; surety every solution and service we provide to our clients; and deliver with the speed of light and rock-solid global safety standards and regulations.
Since its creation in 2019, we have grown through handwork and innovation from a man’s quest for solutions to a multi-team global player in procurement and beyond, giving rise to other solutions we never imagined.
