OxyQawuin™

OxyQawuin™ Oxytetracycline Injection (5%) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. Oxytetracycline Injection is usually used for cattle, sheep, goat swine and dogs. Tetracycline Injection is an intramuscular injection for Livestock: 0.05-0.1ml per kg body weight. Oxytetracycline Injection is not recommended for use in horses, dogs and cats and not use the product in ewes producing milk for human consumption.

Composition
Each ml contains oxytetracycline dihydrate and contains 50mg of oxytetracycline.

Target Species
Can be used for cattle, sheep, goats, swine, and dogs.

Indication
Oxytetracycline is an antimicrobial agent that is effective in the treatment of a wide range of diseases caused by susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, rickettsia and mycoplasma, like respiratory, intestinal, dermatological, genitourinary, and septicemic infections in cattle, sheep, goats, etc

Administration & Dosage
Through Intramuscular Injection

Cattle/Sheep/Goats
0.2-0.4ml/kg body weight for 3 days

Contraindications
– Use cautiously in young animals because of possible teeth discolouration.
– Avoid injecting IM volumes greater than 10ml per site.

Withdrawal Time
Cattle, Sheep, Goats: 28 days
Not be used in lactating animals
